In order to comply with the 2018 General Data Protection Regulations, Care in Mann are required to make provision for every client and volunteer to positively “opt-in” to a system which records their personal data. We do this by asking you to sign a consent form when you join us.
If you no longer wish to use our service/volunteer with us you can, if you wish, ask us to delete your record in complete confidence that we will do so, and you can also ask to see the information we hold.
Data stored will be under the control of an identified person(s) responsible for data protection and will be stored on an electronic database and on a hard copy, which will be protected by effective security.
Should it be necessary to disclose personal data to a third party, you will be made aware of this and have the opportunity to object if appropriate.
All data held will be regularly monitored to ensure that it is current and accurate.
Personal data will be destroyed once it is no longer relevant. Any concerns regarding personal data held should be addressed with Gillian Fowler, the person identified by Care in Mann as being responsible for data protection.
